I have so much to be thankful for this year. After a major brain surgery, radiation and chemo for 1 year and 6 months, my oldest son, Russell, is CANCER FREE. I PRAISE THE LORD for what He has done in our lives. Remember to KEEP CHRIST FIRST during this season!

Barrett Family celebrates first Top 80 song

“I’ll Get My Reward,” a song from the CD, Father’s House, has landed the Barrett Family of Manchester, Ky., in the number 49 spot of the Singing News Top 80 Chart for March 2006.

The Barrett Family consists of Homer Barrett, vocals and drums; Garnett Barrett, vocals and keyboards; Betty Barrett, vocals and drums; Brenda Hensley, vocals; Jim Gray, vocals and acoustic guitar; Mayme Gray, vocals; and Steve Martin, vocals and bass guitar.
